Privacy

The short version

StackMemo stores what you give it to track your projects, encrypts your connector credentials at rest, runs its own analytics instead of third-party trackers, and never sells or shares your data. Public pages show only the numbers you explicitly toggle on.

What we store

• Account: your email and, if you sign in with GitHub or Google, the name and avatar they provide. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, never in plain text.
• Project data: the projects, services, costs and revenue lines you enter.
• Connector credentials: API keys you connect (Stripe, GitHub, Neon, …) are encrypted at rest with a key separate from our auth secrets. They are used only to fetch the metrics you enabled, on a schedule, and are never displayed back or shared. Disconnecting a connector deletes its credentials.
• Synced metrics: the KPI values fetched by your connectors (costs, MRR, stars, …), retained per your plan's history window.
• Analytics: first-party only — page views, scroll depth and traffic source, tied to an anonymous random visitor id. No third-party trackers, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting.

Payments

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers; we store only your subscription status.

Public pages

Projects are private by default. If you enable a public page, only the sections you toggle on (cost, revenue, stack, metrics, milestones) are visible — and the share image and badge honor the same toggles.

Emails

We send transactional email only: verification, password resets. No marketing lists, no sharing your address.

Deleting your data

Deleting a project deletes its services, revenue lines, metrics and share pages. To delete your whole account and everything in it, use the contact page — it's handled promptly and permanently.
